The newest episode of Nonfiction Book Report is available on the Library’s YouTube Channel. This month Natalie and I talk about two Newish Noteworthy Nonfiction books about gifts.
Natalie shared The Art Thief: a true story of love, crime, and a dangerous obsession by Michael Finkel. Stéphane Breitwieser desired to surround himself with great works of art, becoming a master thief who, with the help of his girlfriend, carried out over 200 heists from museums and churches throughout Europe.
I highlighted What It Takes To Save A Life: a veterinarian’s quest for healing and hope by Dr. Kwane Stewart. Stewart takes readers on a journey through his life as he becomes a veterinarian outside the skid row neighborhood of Los Angeles. Discover stories from his life, the people he worked with, the animals, and the pet owners he helped.
New episodes of NBR: Nonfiction Book Report will drop every second Friday of the month. December’s holiday episode is a very merry celebration of the gifts we give ourselves and others. Tune into our next episode on Friday January 12th, when we’ll each share nonfiction books on the theme New Year New You.
