The Library Board of Trustees recently approved to permanently expand operating hours on Sundays at both Library locations. Beginning January 7, 2024, Cook Park Library and Aspen Drive Library will open an hour earlier at 12 pm instead of 1 pm.
Why? Because Sundays are very popular.
We see you, Weekend Warriors! Weekday visits don’t fit everyone’s schedule, but weekends at the Library are buzzing. On a per-hour basis, Sundays are by far our busiest day of the week. In fact, they are roughly 124% busier than the next busiest day of the week, Saturday. An extra hour on Sundays will provide more options for you to take advantage of all we have to offer.
New Library operating hours beginning January 7:
Monday: 9 am-9 pm
Tuesday: 9 am-9 pm
Wednesday: 9 am-9 pm
Thursday: 9 am-9 pm
Friday: 9 am-6 pm
Saturday: 9 am-5 pm
Sunday: 12-5 pm
Sunday | 145 |
Saturday | 118 |
Friday | 106 |
Thursday | 97 |
Monday | 94 |
Tuesday | 94 |
Wednesday | 90 |
