A real-life mystery, full of larger-than-life characters, and the titular emerald that is either worth almost nothing or $925 million. It’s confusing and hard to explain in a short blurb, but fascinating with incredibly compelling illustrations throughout. A great long-read for the weekend.

Time magazine shares their list of the top 50 podcasts, covering almost every category of podcast out there. There’s true crime (Serial), comedy (2 Dope Queens), interviews (Fresh Air) and pop culture (Gilmore Guys).  This is a great guide if you’re looking for a new podcast to listen to or if you don’t know where to start. There’s bound to be a podcast for you on this list. Also, don’t forget about the library’s podcast while you’re thinking about them!
