Genealogy in June just got a little more exciting.
MyHeritage, a subscription genealogy site, is offering free access to a different record collection every day in June. Genealogy blogger Dick Eastman has a list of what record collection will be available on what day.
Many of these record collections are only available by subscription. The majority of them are international, so if you know where your ancestor lived in his or her home country, you may be able to find original records to further your research. Over 100 million Swedish Household Examination Books are available today, and Danish, Finnish, English, Spanish, French are coming up. Newspapers from Canada, Massachusetts and Florida also caught my eye.
Remember each featured record collection is only available for a day.
Take a look at what’s available when and plan your June research calendar accordingly.
