Take Comfort!
Dear Readers,
Even though we haven't (yet) had much snow, there's still
nothing like wrapping yourself in a quilt to read, read, read
the cold and gray days away!
And guess what? We're offering just the class you can take
for learning to make that quilt yourself! Inspired by the
beloved book by Patricia Polacco, THE KEEPING QUILT,
2nd and 3rd graders can use the basic skill of tying to quickly

construct a quilt. In the process, a memory quilt will be made by
adding special shapes and colors. The size of the quilt will be
54" x 54".
Both library locations will offer this class:
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18 @Cook Park at 4:15
or
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7 @Aspen Drive at 4:15
Registration is required.
Knotting away,
Paige Turner!
