Dear Readers,

Did you know that September is National Library Card

Signup Month?  Even though you can get a library card

any month, we are ready for you now! 

Children ages 4 - 13 (age 4 is the starting age for getting

a card) are encouraged to get a card and, in return, a special

memento will be given to the recipient of the card.  Parents

must bring their own library card or photo identification

with proof of residency within the library district.  Only

Cook Memorial Public Library District residents are eligible

for Cook Library cards.

Not only can you get free books with your library card, but

also free DVD's and CD's, free internet access and other

wonderful benefits.  So c'mon in and get your library card

today!
