This fall we have two real-live authors for you to meet!

Both will visit our library district - one at Sullivan Center

(Vernon Hills) and one at Cook Park (Libertyville) on the

same Saturday in September. (September 24)

The Part One "Meet an Author" will be particularly

interesting to those of you who are in, or would like to be in

a Book Club.  Here are the details:

Meet Michele Weber Hurwitz, local area author of Calli Be Gold,

                                        at our

                          Book Club

    Extravaganza,

an event for anyone who is in a book club, wants to be in a book club, or

simply loves books! Calli Be Gold is the charming story of 5th-grader, Calli Gold, 

the quiet one in a family of  high-achieving “louds,” who discovers that talents and gifts

don’t always result in awards and medals but often have more meaningful and lasting effects

on other people’s lives.
