Dear Readers,
Do you ever need to make a list to remember something
you need to do? Like writing a thank you note to your
Grandparents for that swell birthday gift they gave you,
or remembering to return library books by a certain date?

The way some people remind themselves to do something
is to tie a string around their finger, and every time you
look at the string on your finger, it gives you the "message"
"Don't forget-don't forget-don't forget" that you have
something to do. Once you have remembered what to do,
remove the string and you have successfully NOT forgotten
what you needed to do! Easy, peasy, no?
Okay, so now that we have gotten that all figured out,
what was it that I needed to tell you? Let me think.
Oh, yes...I remember now, thanks to that white string on
my pinkie! I WANT TO TELL YOU TO HURRY UP AND
FINISH READING THOSE LAST BOOKS for our
Summer Reading Club that is ending officially
on Monday, August 1, 2011. That way you can collect your
free book and all those great coupons for free food!
You know you can do it, so get going RIGHT NOW! Don't
say you weren't reminded!
Untying the string,
Paige Turner!
