The Cook Memorial Public Library District offers a variety of valuable resources and services to our community's teachers and homeschoolers.
Parent/Teacher Collection: Browse our extensive, high-quality collection of books for parents and teachers.
Teacher Cards: Educators who work at a school within the library district are eligible for a teacher card that can be used to check out materials supporting their curriculum. Once you have a card, request materials here: Teacher Request Form
School Loans: Get materials to supplement resources available in the school libraries. Use the Teacher Request Form.
School Visits: Arrange for a librarian to visit your classroom. Children’s Department staff members are available to give book talks, author talks, or supplement chosen themes with library materials. Please contact School Services Coordinator Jan Hastings.

Annual Preschool and Childcare Fair: Each January the library holds a fair to allow patrons to meet with childcare providers in the Libertyville/Vernon Hills area. If your preschool/childcare center would like to have a table at this popular event, please complete the Preschool Fair Form.
