Before submitting a suggestion for purchase, please read the following guidelines.
“High Demand” Items
You do not need to submit suggestions for the latest bestsellers or popular movies (i.e. movies currently out in the theaters or anything that grossed more than $10 million in the box office). The library will purchase these “high demand” materials. To be fair to all patrons, we will begin accepting holds as soon as the item appears in the catalog.
You do not need to submit suggestions for the newest season of a series if we already own previous seasons. Again, the library will definitely purchase the next season. To be fair to all patrons, we will begin accepting holds as soon as the item appears in the catalog.
Items New and Old
Please refrain from suggesting items that are more than three months away from their available date. We encourage you to submit your suggestion closer to the date of publication or release. If the item you are looking for is more than one year old, please submit a LINKin or Interlibrary Loan request. This is the quickest way to get the item.
